Update 5th June 2021
Services Update - Easing of COVID Restrictions
With careful thought, here’s an update of our plans:
From Monday 7 June: re-open the Prayer Chapel for private prayer from 8.30am until 4.30pm
From 4th July: re-start Cafe Church in person outside
From Sunday 25 July: re-start refreshments in the Parish Centre after Sunday morning worship
From early September: re-start Giles Coffee Shop in the Peace Memorial Hall on Friday mornings; and also re-launch Café Church in person in the PMH
We are opening the Church Building again for public worship from the 14th March. All previous safety measures (as detailed below) remain in place.
-all adults wear face masks, unless clinically exempt from doing so
-we keep 2m distance from anyone outside our own household/social bubble
-we gel our hands as we enter, and as we leave the building
-we follow a one way system to and from our seats at the start and end, and as we move forward to take Holy Communion
-we do not linger at the entrance or exit of the building to talk with others
-we do not mingle with anyone outside our own household/social bubble
As the COVID vaccination programme is rolled out, please be aware that some scams are circulating by phone, text and email. Please do not click on any links they contain. They will lead you to a very convincing page, but at the end will ask you to pay for the vaccine. The Government vaccination programme is free and you cannot jump the queue by paying for it. Those who are eligible for the vaccine first will receive a letter and/or an email with an invitation to ring for an appointment.
Due to restrictions on public movement, the Parish Magazine has not be printed or circulated since March 2020, you can find the abridged online versions here - Parish Magazine
