Update 23rd July 2021
Easing Of Restrictions at St Giles
It's been decided that measures in St.Giles to minimise the spread of COVID-19 should remain largely unchanged for the next 3 Sundays (25th July - 8th August inclusive). A reminder of the practises we are encouraging and recommending that people continue with:
- people invited to gel their hands on entry to and exit from church
- register of attendees kept
- people do not sit directly behind or alongside anyone not in their household, unless agreeable to all parties
- face masks continue to be worn
- Communion in one kind only (bread), distributed from standing position at step
- one way system retained for receiving Communion
- doors left open if not too cold, to improve ventilation
Changes to recent practices:
- remove one-way system for finding seat on entry
- introduce limited congregational singing, but with masks on.People not wearing masks politely asked not to sing, but to hum
It is intended to ease the measures step-by-step on a 3 weekly basis as conditions allow.

Join us on 1st August for Café Church Al Fresco!
This months Theme: Greatness
We are holding July's Cafe Church in the Vicarage Garden, where will be able to resume selling hot drinks and pastries from the Vicarage Kitchen! Starts at 10:30 am with a short act of worship approx. 11 am.
We have enough chairs and cups for all, but should you be more comfortable with your own rug/mug/chair, please feel free to bring it with you. There will hopefully be contactless payment available, but we recommend you bring cash with you just in case. There is no parking at the vicarage, should you need to drive, please park safely in one of the side roads.
IF IT IS RAINING - Please come up to the Church instead!
